Muesee Kazapua was elected mayor of Windhoek, replacing Agnes Kafula

Mr. Muesee Kazapua was elected as the new mayor of the city of Windhoek, Namibia, replacing Mrs. Agnes Kafula who is expected to join parliament this year.

Before he was elected mayor, Mr. Kazapua was the city’s deputy mayor. He is 34 years old and is part of Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL).

The Association of Local Authorities of Namibia (ALAN) is an UCLG Africa member.
