The African Real Estate Summit: Developing Future African Cities
The African Real Estate Summit is an international platform that will bring together the full spectrum of the African real estate sector. It will take place on 2 – 3 November 2016 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Cape Town, South Africa.
The Summit will assist African cities and governments in securing new international investment for economic development based around commercial real estate and infrastructure projects that will contribute to Urban Development Plans.
That is why, the organizers (including UCLG Africa), are inviting cities to participate and showcase their Urban Development Plans to over 300 international investors and developers who will be in Cape Town on November. New comers will join the Cities of Kigali, Lusaka and Cape Town and display their Urban Development Plans to an audience of investors and developers.
The secretary general of UCLG Africa is expected to address the participants of the summit as a keynote speaker on the first day of the conference. The first session will tackle the issues of sustainability and resilience within the fastest growing cities of the world, the African cities.
Other important issues will be discussed during this high-level two-day conference such as smart cities, successful city development projects, urban development plans and several other matters of real estate within African cities.
The summit is expecting to host various profiles of attendees ranging from Governments Officials (City Directors, Ministers…), Cities and Local Authorities, Developers (Retail, Infrastructure…), business services (Contractors, Lawyers, Town Planners…), and investors and so on.
