Khalifa Ababacar Sall, New President, Cities Alliance

Cities Alliance welcomes Mayor of Dakar, President of UCLG Africa, Mr. Khalifa Sall, as President and Mrs. Clare Short, as Chair of the Management Board of the organization in a press release.

 

The press release was published on the organization’s website by the end of a 2-day meeting held in Brussels on 6 – 7 April 2016. The inaugural meeting of the Cities Alliance Assembly concluded with the appointment of a new governing body that will be in charge of leading the organization for the three upcoming years.

This meeting also witnessed the participation of UCLG Africa Secretary General, Mr. Jean Pierre Elong Mbassi, and outgoing Chair of the interim Management Board.
