Call for applications: Support Project Officer for the Covenant of Mayors for Sub-Saharan Africa

The covenant of Mayors for Sub-Saharan Africa (CoMO SSA) is an initiative that was launched by the European Commission to support African cities with the provision of sufficient energy services that are sustainable and safe for urban and suburban areas.

CoMO SSA is a 4-year project with the general goal of increasing the capacities of cities to implement the Covenant of Mayors in Sub-Saharan Africa.

 

The CEMR role is to coordinate the Covenant of Mayors Office for Sub-Saharan Africa in partnership with 10 other organizations including UCLG Africa. In this framework, the CoMOSSA is looking for a Support Project Officer who will be based in Accra, Ghana, within UCLG Africa’s Regional Office for West Africa.

Under the coordination of the Project Director of CEMR (based in Brussels) and under the direct supervision of the Regional Director of UCLG Africa office for West Africa, the Support Project Officer will be responsible for carrying all the ad-hoc tasks to ensure the proper implementation of the project.
