The African Law Library Launched on Social Media
The African Innovation Foundation (AIF) has announced, Monday 28 September 2015, the launch of two social media channels aimed at supporting the growing online community of users, in the framework of its flagship programme, the African Law Library (ALL).
The African Law Library is an innovative online portal available free of charge to all those interested in African law and governance. It aims at facilitating access to different resources on African law and governance, providing access to modern and customary law texts, and to other legal documents and secondary sources in Africa.
The online library is open to all connected users and offers its services in English, French and Portuguese. According to the AIF founder, Jean-Claude Bastos de Morais, the goal is to “build a meaningful, connected library of African law and governance.”
Hence, with an ever-growing database which already gathers more than 100 000 texts of law, the online platform of ALL remains the principal source of information in terms of African law and details related to this programme.
