Signature of a Framework Partnership Agreement between UCLG Africa and the International Institute of Governance (IIG)

As part of the extension of its Network of Partners, the Secretary General of UCLG Africa, Mr. Jean Pierre Elong Mbassi and the President of the IIG, Mr. Saad Ansari Bouaachrine proceeded, on Tuesday 20 July 2021, to the signing of a Framework Partnership Agreement. This signing ceremony was preceded by presentations of both UCLG Africa and the IIG, including their mandate, vision and activities.

The IIG is a private institution of higher education, research, training, studies, consulting and development project design and implementation, specializing in good practices in the field of governance, whose headquarters is in Rabat, 06, Rue Mehdia Apt 2 Hassan Rabat Morocco.

As a reminder, the IIG has supported the Moroccan Association of Presidents of Prefectural and Provincial Councils (AMPCPP) and the ALGA Academy of UCLG Africa in the preparation and implementation of a dozen projects that have been presented to the African Support Fund for International Decentralized Cooperation of the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior.
