To achieve this goal, a call for applications has been launched. Training courses will be planned over two sessions: from April 23 to May 2, 2018 in Oudja and from September 24-29, 2018 at the seaside resort of Saïdia (Oriental Region).
Territorial Coaching is a process of establishing dialogues between the stakeholders of a territory so that they can take ownership and are empowered vis-à-vis the processes of changes that they wish to usher in to ensure the full mobilization of active forces with a view to enhancing all the development potentials of a territory.
For African local authorities, territorial coaching is a powerful lever for the implementation of new global agendas, including the sustainable development goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 11, to ” Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable” and SDG 16 to ” Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels”, of the new urban agenda and the climate agenda.
The Territorial Coaching College gives participants the opportunity to improve their skills in the area of territorial coaching; to multiply their expertize and to share their experiences. It is organized by ALGA in partnership with the Oriental region in Morocco, a pioneer in this field.
The objective of this course is to create a pool of qualified African Francophones who are able to support local government.
