National conference for local government executives (Territorialis 2023)  

From September 28 to 30, 2023, the 82nd national congress of France’s Syndicate of General Directors of Local Authorities (SNDGCT) was held in Le Havre, under the theme “Human-centred action“.  

The professional gatherings of local authority executives also saw the participation of territorial administration specialists from outside France. For the African continent, Mrs. Aka Walemin Hortense, Director of Decentralized Cooperation at the Ivory Coast’s Ministry of the Interior and Security, mobilized by UCLG Africa’s Local Government Academy (ALGA), took part in the major national and international event that is the Territorialis Conference.
